On behalf of the members of United States Submarine Veterans – Marblehead Base, I would like to thank you for taking the time to meet with us on April 4, 2002. It was an honor and a pleasure to meet with you and your staff. I especially want to thank you for reintroducing me to two of my former shipmates from the Trepang. We hope our memorial to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 will find a proper place in your building. I am submitting an article to American Submariner Magazine detailing our trip to Washington, DC and the presentation of the dolphin plaque. If it is published I will be sure to send you a copy.
